Herbal Medicine is powerful.
The custom herbal formula comprehensively addresses your case pattern as identified by Chinese Medicine Therapeutics. Rather than taking multiple medications, one for blood pressure, one for anxiety, one for sleep, etc, Chinese herbal formulas are designed to treat as many of your symptoms as possible at the same time, in a comprehensive yet balanced manner. Oftentimes the formulas change as you change, making a long-term herbal regimen a unique opportunity for effective and lasting positive shifts in your health.
Dr Lindsay is a very skilled herbalist and enjoys watching a wide variety of conditions improve with these potent medicinals.
Pricing varies depending on dosage and specifics of your treatment plan.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture uses sterile, disposable needles to stimulate the circulation of blood, body fluids, and what we call in Chinese medicine, Qi. It is a profound medical intervention that has been researched extensively and practiced for thousands of years. For more information on how acupuncture works and what it treats, read this.
How is your treatment different?
Our treatment is different from other conventional or alternative medical treatment in several key ways.
One, we are results-oriented. We devise treatment plans with set timelines and specific measurable goals.
Two, we do only holistic natural medicine. We don’t use pharmaceuticals and we rarely use supplements. Our treatment is designed at restoring the function of your body so as to minimize or eliminate the need for pharmaceuticals and supplements.
Three, we are patient-centered. We spend time with our patients, with a thorough an in-depth initial consultation and milestone meetings that monitor progress throughout your treatment plan.
My health picture is so complicated; can you still help?
The majority of our patients have a complicated health picture! These are the kinds of cases we love because they are often ones where Western medicine will struggle, prescribing multiple pharmaceutical interventions without resolution. Each case is different, but complex chronic conditions are our calling card.
How much does it cost?
Do you take insurance?
Cost - Our pricing varies depending on the specific treatment plan. We usually work with patients on comprehensive treatment programs, that often include acupuncture and herbal medicine together. The recommended treatment plan will vary based on the intensity, chronicity, and complexity of your case.
In your consultation with our doctor, he will make a treatment program recommendation after fully assessing your case.
Insurance - Many insurance plans in Utah cover acupuncture. Call your insurance company to learn about the specifics of your plan. We are out-of-network with all insurance companies, and would be happy to provide you with all the documentation you need to seek reimbursement.
Ways to Pay - Many of our patients pay out of pocket with a credit card, or use of HSA or FSA cards. We also work with CareCredit, which allows patients to pay over time.
